ASMAT is quite undeveloped region, There is still many things to do to make them better in our eyes..... but........

They have their own way of life and that is very good. They have their traditional belief and manner to survive the nature. They have their astonishing unique wood carving skill. They do not need soap, TV, electricity, gas even money to life. They have (we can call) "humble indigenous wisdom" that we should help protect it.

I am very lucky that I can go and learn from very kind and friendly but tough Asmat people here. It was one of the greatest 9 month adventure in my life
