Daily life in Somalia 2nd week

Pneumonia Patient who are improved, I am so happy he is dramatically improved :-)

SAM Child who are in transition phase, the mother look happy and really like our service and the way we provide health care to her child

Playing and social room in our centre

10 days already, I've been staying in Mogadishu, but Due to security reason, I can not move anywhere. I have to stay in the armed guarded facilities/compound. First 3 or 2 days it is okay, but I can become boring as I can't go anywhere. One thing that make me try and strong that is the children that we treat. It is like I am connected to them. The innocent and weak children who are the victim of this conflict and natural disaster make me think to always strong.
I was sick for 2 days and I have to stay on the bed can't do anything, I really want to go to the hospital and reconnect with them again.

However the number of the patient is decreasing now, It is happened not only in our structure but also in the other center. I have no idea what was happened, I am not brave enough to presume any possibility that cause the decreasing of the number. I just do hope it is getting better not because of something bad is happened.

greet from Somalia

Heru :-)
