2nd day in South Sudan
Waiting for Water in one of our pumping station
like usual I am working in the small Camp hospital in the centre of the refugee Camp in Doror (Maban County, South sudan). We have 4 bed IPD and 2 OPD room along with ATFC and Maternity ward and its delivery and ANC room. We have quite a big team working here (28 expat team).
at early morning, I found one stuck baby that could'nt pass through the pelvic for more than 1 hours. the midwives called me and I tried to help to vacuum the baby. When I saw the baby coming out, not just the mother are happy but I am also really happy and excited. This is one of the best experience in my life. It is amazing how God create this phenomenon in the world.
The day became interesting as I found kid with seizure and it is quite interesting as the kid got petit mal (honestly this is my first time see this kind of petit mal and this really textbook!! :) )
We had really nice meal, though we are in the Bush, we can enjoy the fresh vegetables and fruits. we have really good expat team and it make it is rally nice!
Overall the day is going better and I know I will enjoy the rest of mission here.
