Vaccination Day activities in South Sudan 1st part
h
We did 2 day of Vaccination activity, we did mass vaccination campaign for the refugee. The target is 15000 Children. The children were so excited and happy, as they got soap and BP5 as a surprise gift.
We feel that we bring a huge impact for the community when we see their bright and happy eye.
The vaccination activities is important as they life in very close tent in refugee without good and sufficient hygiene facilities. It will prevent the population especially children below 5 years old to get Measles infection.
As a preparedness program, the capital sent us E-prep Kit for Cholera. We have one watery diarrhea, and it was creating small panic in our team.
Luckily, the patient got better and he doesn't get diarrhea and stop to vomit, we can asume that the worse may be passed.
Life in South Sudan need more than motivation and heart, it need energy I said PLENTY of ENERGY, you have to be strong any time as the life is tough here. Hot, dusty, scarce of water and Nothing here. The one that make this mission beautiful that the people so lovely and friendly.
