My trip with trans Sabargita (public Transport at Bali)
I decided to try Trans Sabargita, the Rapid Bus Transit Sytem Network. I started at 9.36 in the morning waiting at the Bus stop at Nusa Dua. I waited for about 14 minute. The Bus Stop condition is quite terrifying, it is quite dangerous and definitely not handicapped friendly. It is like no maintanance from the provider has been done since it was built.
The bus arrived at the Bus Stop (BTDC 2) at 09.50. The Ticket collector approached the passenger to colect the fare. It is really cheap! (3500 IDR = 30 cents)
The trip from Nusa Dua to Airport took about 30 minutes. The traffic was okay. The bus was quite comfy and cool as it was equipped with AC. The cleanliness was not good and needed to Be improved. I guessed the operator need to imposed harsher penalty for all rules offender so they would use the public transport considerately.
10.31 the bus arrived and dropped me at Domestic terminal Ngurah Rai International Airport.
At the end, I would like to strongly urge everyone who love and admire Bali to use the public transport as it will help Bali to save energy, save the environment, and make Bali greener. but, How??? Mmmm.... one little step is a great start to have a great final!! By using Public Transport, you will save massive consumption of fossil energy which is become drained out nowadays, moreover, Bali will be less polluted as the number of car is expected to be reduced of course if the people use Public Transport PROUDLY. There is no excuse not to use Trans Sabargita as it is quite comfortable and cheap.
